Engineering Design
Proteus uses high quality CAD programs and has the ability to design for 3D printing, laser-cutting, machining, folding and fabrication. If you choose to work with us we can provide you with:

Prototyping
3D Printing and prototype building services are available for design projects.
Our workshop has 3D printing, electronics development capabilities and a mechanical workshop. We can also easily outsource jobs requiring more intensive equipment.
The in-house FDM 3D printer has a 300mm cubed build envelop and can print in all of the common materials. For more complex print jobs that require SLA or Multi-jet printing we can leverage our network in the local 3D printing industry to provide high quality prototyping solutions.
Analysis
Proteus brings experience in R&D and Analysis through a range of academic and industry based projects.
If you have an existing design that requires a detailed review or are developing a new design - we can use finite element analysis to analyze the performance of your product in real world conditions, improve the quality of product designs and reduce the cost of developing prototypes.
We can also have the facilities to carry out experimental validations for designs through load and pressure testing.
Reverse Engineering
Using accurate measurement techniques, we can reverse engineer just about any product or device.
Our customers have found this service useful for creating cheap alternatives to proprietary, obsolete or imported parts. This has been particularly popular for electronics and telecommunications applications.
If you supply a part or drawing, we can provide CAD models and manufactured replicas.
